How to buy Ukraine travel insurance online: step by step

Step 1. Set the dates — the whole stay

Cover must span your entire stay, from the day of entry to the day of exit inclusive. Policy duration follows the 3-to-180-day rules; if your plans may stretch, err on the longer side — a policy that ends mid-trip fails the border check.

Step 2. Enter the travellers' details

Names go in exactly as in each passport, in Latin characters — the policy is checked against the passport at the border. One policy purchase can cover several travellers; each person's details are entered separately.

Step 3. Choose the options

The war-risk element is the reason this policy qualifies for entry — what it covers, we explain here. Radiation cover and extended cover are separate add-ons selected at this step. The exact price for your dates and options is calculated on the checkout page — it depends on the trip length and what you select.

Step 4. Pay and receive the policy

After payment the policy PDF arrives by email. Check three things on arrival: the name spelling, the dates, and the selected options. Keep the PDF on your phone next to your passport.

If you change your mind
